Can anyone tell me if they make any type of glove for people doing work with a glue gun?  I have long nails and I was recently making something and burning myself or getting globs of glue  on my nails.  Help!!!  Are ther special tools that help you press thing down?  Any hints would help me for future projects.

i keep a toothpick, with the tip cut off,  near me and  i use it instead of my nail to hold down small items like sequins and such.

I have also used a bead reamer, it is like an ice pick for the same purpose.  Since it is metal the glue peels off pretty easily once it is cooled.  I use this mostly because as a beader I have a couple and I have glued the toothpick to things before!
