Gnomes
Author: Wil Huygen
Did you know that a gnome is seven times stronger than a human? Or that his sense of smell is nineteen times more acute? Or that gnomes rub noses both in greeting and farewell? These and other real life details - pictured in full color by the noted Dutch author Rein Poortivliet - illuminate this first documentary of gnomes.

I love this book and would not part with it except I have two copies. Delightful drawings.

Gorgeous illustrations. My parents perpetually had this book sitting out on a table when I was little, and that's what I remember best.
