All of us have felt the need to be closer to our GOD, but we stand back and watch others seem to be at HIS feet. This explains how to sit there and know HIM. It helps that hunger you have and can't quite feed. It is to be a GOD CHASER- one who knows that GOD is important in their life and want MORE!

"A God chaser is a person whose passion for God's presence presses him to chase the impossible in hopes that the uncatchable might catch him. A child chases a loving parent until, suddenly, the strong arms of the father enfold the chaser. The pursuer becomes the captive; the pursued the captor. Paul put it this way: 'I chase after that I may catch that which apprehened me' (Phil. 3:12)."

This book was really impressive! I felt lead to share it with someone and asked them to keep passing it on. However I now feel as though I need to read it again to motivate and inspire me to urgency in chasing after God.

This is a great book about the essence of the Christian faith, which is knowing God. It is not going to church, or being active in ministry, although those things should naturally flow from knowing God. It is too easy for us to do all the good things, and neglect getting to know God Himself. This is a great reminder of what must come first for all the rest of our Christian experience to work.

Tenney has a strong sense of Christian beliefs. If you are Heaven or Hell Christian his books are for you.
