This is a very interesting account of a WWII pilot in one of the lesser known theatres of the war - the Chinese theatre. The author writes with a very enthusiastic style, discussing both his experiences as a fighter pilot and his every day life on the ground, and even a little bit of his philosophical outlook. I found it to be a very good memoir. If you are a pilot or like stories about WWII you will love this book.
