She will be here at DragonCon(?) in Sept and I'm thinking of venturing there...

YES.  Sookie belongs with ERIC.  And just because fans of the show like Bill from the show, the story line of the books should NOT change.  LOL  Anyone who's read all the books knows that she has more with Eric than Bill, damn, Bill is just an afterthought in most of the books except the first few.

I have met her a few times and she is really nice and funny!  Very down to earth. Tell her she was missed at RT.

I've been to an ALA convention and it's so busy and overwhelming. I hope it was fun. I'll bet Charlaine was mobbed by fans because of the HBO series True Blood. The books are so much better than the series, but the series is good on its own. I'll be interested in seeing if the Sookie series is like Twilight at Dragoncon. Should be interesting!! I wish I could afford to travel and go, but alas, it's not in the budget!
