Anyone who is interested in Christianity and/or history and/or how books came to be through the ages who is going to Orlando might be interested in the Holy Land Experience. My husband and I were particularly impressed with The Scriptorium:Link which houses a magnificent collection of Biblical writings from clay tablets to scrolls, and different kinds of Bibles. One Bible had a large brownish-rust stain on it that I briefly noted but assumed it to be a stain from the passage of time. Come to find out it was the blood of a martyr. It really touched me. You can get in free on your birthday. A would like to let parents know ahead of time that the Passion Play is quite intense (a lot of "beating" and fake blood) that could upset small children. It was hard enough for me to watch without running up there to smack the Roman soldiers :)
