I don't want a large number of friends but I would like a few friends with whom my reading compatibility is 50% or more. I'm a crazy cat lady, nurse, former military, genealogist, knit, and do counted cross stitch. 

I love WWII books, anything Holocaust and Resistance related, Irish books, British mysteries, true crime, novels set in 1940's - 1950's, medical novels, long, epic novels in the Mitchener style,. I do NOT like fantasy, sci-fi, vampires, futuristic books.

I have read the FAQ on Gold Key Membership but was wondering if anyone could explain it to me in a bit more detail. Although I am not able to afford it at this time I would really like to know more. I might be able to save $1 a month out of my disability check to put towards the fee if it is something I could benefit from. Thanks for any input! I am always up for more friends....just send a request. Blessings!

I am also open to new friends. There is no such thing as too many friends, especially when they are true friends.  I can certainly  use some of those.
