Yesterday I ordered a book directly from another member's bookshelf as part of a 2 for 1 she had offered me in a PM. That member was in Idaho. The order clicked over to another member in Kansas and was shipped almost immediately. So what happened? I have a gold key but neither of the other members has it. This looks like the geographic switch for gold key members but it wasn't a WL book. Is this possible? I know nothing can be done about this specific swap now because the book is already on the way, but if this happens with every gold key member's order it truly messes up any 2 for 1 and other offers that members make to each other. |

If you're sure you ordered from her bookshelf page, without first clicking on the book's title to look at the details, then you should ask the PBS Team for help by sending in a feedback message. They are the only ones who would be able to determine if there's a bug in the system that sent your order to the wrong member. It might be that the first member declined your request for requestor conditions without telling you, but there's no way for you to see that from your account. |

No, because I PMed the member with my freebie choice on the 2 for 1 and she replied that she couldn't see my order on her accounts page. When I went back to check my accounts page, the order had already been shipped by the Kansas member. |

When you ordered you made sure to only use the button on the right side of the screen while on their Bookshelf? You cannot click into the book nor use the order button on the yellow popup that appears when you hover on the book image. That button on the right is the only button that will properly order directly from a member's Bookshelf. Send in Feedback and the Team can tell you exactly where it went wrong, they can tell if you clicked into a different window, if the member cancelled it and isn't fessing up, or if the system didn't process it correctly. Gold Key should not redirect a request directly from a bookshelf. If the first member cancelled the request (not turned down RCs) then that would show up in your Transaction Archive. I took the question over to the 'contact us' button. We'll see what they reply. I know this book order can't be changed, but if it was something I did, then I'd like to know so I don't repeat whatever it was in future. |
