I just joined the gold key group.  I found that I can search my friends bookshelf to order books but is there a way to seach everyone' wish list to see who wants certain books before I post them?  I tried the seach with Gold Key selected but it comes back blank.

Friends Direct - What are friends for, if not to share books with? Gold Key Members can easily search all their PaperBackSwap Friends' Bookshelves to find books to request, and can also post Wish List books directly to their Friends' Wish Lists.

When you post a book, if there a Friends wishing for it they will all be there as an option to send to in addition to sending the book through the FIFO system. If there are no Friends wishing for the book, there will be no option. So its not really a "search" functionm its part of the posting function.

Ginny, with gold key, when you post a wishlist book that some of your friends are wishing for, you'll get a drop down box with a list of all your friends who are wishing for the book as well as an option to post the book FIFO instead of posting to a friend.  You can choose which friend if any you want to post your book to.  If none of your friends are currently wishing for the book, you'll just see a "Post this book" button.

If you're just curious, you can start posting a book to see if any of your friends are wishing and then cancel prior to actually posting the book.

I wish there was an easy way to search friends' wishlists, too, especially when I find a book that has been posted from a non-ISBN series, like Guideposts, that I know my friends like.
