"A thriller...with the breathlessness of Ludlum and the literary heart of le Carre. Manda Scott pulls off this feat with the terrific 'NO GOOD DEED'...stilleto sharp". San Francisco Chronicle

First book I have read of this author, Manda Scott. A mystery/thriller with several layers of plot. Her main character, Orla McLeod, is so well developed that you feel you know her. The same goes for the other main characters, especially 9 year old Jamie who is caught in the crossfire. He witnesses an extremely brutal murder and survives, with Orla's help. You'll like this one. Different. I'll read more of this writer!
