anyone have any suggestions? I'm not looking for something 'factual' or 'book by book' but something more personal..like instead of knowing facts about God and the Bible something that uses the Bible and asks questions for personal spiritual growth. does this make any sense? I was thinking devotionals but maybe a good study would work better for me.

also has anyone read/done Women of the Bible - has a pink cover at least my hardback version does. I got this for Christmas a while back and am thinking of continuing it. Kinda boring just by myself but got behind in the online group I was doing it with back when...kinda need space to write and hate to writeint his book plus there's no room. may check to see if there's a journal to go with it or something.

ETA: forgot to say - Women of the Bible I think is pretty good but without a group to discuss it with I was abit lost as to some of my feelings. I guess something that gives some other opinions/answers would be nice...

I think any of the Beth Moore studies are very personal and in depth.   If you don't have a group you can get a lot of the group information on her website.

thanks Cozette. I saw a bunch of hers at the bookstore I stopped at today..I just got too overwhelmed! there's even a Bible study on Esther...I remember her risking her life for her people but never thought I'd see an entire Bible study on her! I don't remember why I read that book in the Bible but I did once and found her interesting and always wondered why we didn't hear more about her and now 20 years later voila! we have an entire study on her!

I'll look up Beth Moore and see what all she has - thanks!

I did Beth Moore's Stepping Up: A Journey Through The Psalms of Ascent bible study last year. It was really good. I learned a lot.
