How wonderful to find a book featuring up-to-date design without a riduculous price tag! Dozens of homes are featured in glorious photographs along with a decent amount of text outlining the materials used to keep each home under budget. How to cut building costs without cutting style! Not everything was to my taste, of course, but this is to be expected. My only complaint about the book is that I would have appreciated floor plans, or at least more exterior pictures, to have a better idea of how the homes were laid out.

I thought the book was very interesting and showed ways to cut costs on a new home. I loved some of the "out of box" ideas the book presents that look unique and beautiful.
