I know we all come here to vent and cry and whine with people who understand and can give us the support we need.  But I had something kind of make my day today, so I wanted to share, and thought it might be nice for us to have a thread where we could post some of the little triumps we have.  So feel free to pull this thread up any time you have something good to share with us, so we can celebrate with you as well as commiserate with you!

For me, I got a notification today that one of my wishlist books had been posted - a book of alternative therapies for people with lupus.  I am hopeful that it will give me some new ideas, and really happy that it finally got posted! (And yes, I will be discussing it with my doc, not just jumping in, lol)

I wish I knew something that could help, but I'm clueless.  Of course that's better than some of the well-meant advice, I guess :) 

We must be getting new members or something because I got a wish list book too, although I don't really need it right now (it's dog training).  It's been on my list for a long time and I'd almost taken it off but the author is very good so I thought I'd take it and keep it.  Our dog feels that he's sufficiently trained now.

Lol Diana!  Sounds like your dog has some personality!  I have had several WL books in the last few days.  Generally, they pop up pretty regularly, but I seem to be above average at the moment - yay!

I just hope this book is good!  It would be perfect timing for me, going into the winter season of aches and pains!

I got a thinking of you, get well card in the mail from one of my friends here at PBS last week.  I was just totally blown away - and she even sent me a magnetic bookmark!!!  :)

I got a package from a swap buddy that had so many great little treats in it, and one was a very bright LED booklight, so now I can see to read, and one was a bracelet with a magnetic clasp - perfect for my swollen, achy, clumsy fingers!!!

I found 2 super deals on the book bizarre and ended up getting 25 books for 8 credits!!!!! I"m jumping for joy right now......

I  love reading all the posts. I have not had any requests yet. I would jump for joy if I got one and I could write a reply giving good news!! I did find some books someone wrote me about they were interested in. That was good. Not sure if they want them yet or not. But, they are vintage romance books by specific authors. Was thrilled to see I had 3 books on her list of authors. So, maybe that will get me a good return. Good luck everyone with your dreams and good thought. I love all the little blinkies everyone seems to have. Where do you get them? and how do you put them into your replies? I am such a newbe to all this stuff. It is fun meeting new people.
