In 1876 2 years after gold was discovered in the Black Hills, re region became the last important battleground of a tragic war against the Cheyenne and Sioux nations. The US Army led by Colonel Custer and others aimed to trap the Indians and a 3-pronged attack and destroy the Indians forever and so goes the story. Great history lesson.
