I agree with Margaret P. Bought the book based on front cover and back description. Thought I was getting a story about Lynn Romano but story was written from the perspective of too many other characters. Sorry, but I didn't attempt to finish the book after the first chapter. Too many points of view.

I thought the book was going to be a little more horse oriented, but I enjoyed it. It flips back and forth between the POV of 3 characters, but it's not difficult to follow at all. I'll be interested to see where she goes with the series.

I too hoped for more horse-related content, but horses were forgotten as the book progressed. I didn't care about any of the characters, and even though the forest was supposed to be mystical and scary, it really wasn't.
