Positive: Several actors provide the voices of characters in this book. The audio is only four hours long.

Negative: This entire novel is told in soliloquy; there's not a single word of dialogue between characters. The main character goes on and on with dry and abstract descriptions of the culinary experiences he's had. I rarely quit books; if this had been any longer, I wouldn't have gotten past the first disc.
