A superficial look at amazing transformations of ramshackle barns amd various commercial buildings into homes. Included are a firehouse, a post office, a bell tower, a carriage house, a ballroom, and even an Italian pigsty. I wish there had been more before pictures (there were only a few, historical photos) and would have enjoyed a more in-depth look at each transformation, but given the book's scope, it is beautifully produced and full of stunning photographs.
