A new year's resolution I had was to read some of the books sitting idle on my shelf. (I've been actively reading all the new books I got from PBS while letting these I acquired before my membership just sit.) I had many nice surprises...I was wondering if any of you had a similar experience with books that have been in your house and for whatever reason, you passed by and then when you finally read them, you were shamed that you waited so long to enjoy them. Some of my dusty delights were: The Blue Moon Circus Running North (A true Adventure Of The Yukon Quest) Last Orders I'll post others if anyone's interested! |

A friend's family sent me a box of her books when she passed away. I didn't read them for a long time, since I was sad but when I finally read the first of them I wished I'd read it sooner. The book is O Artful Death by Sarah Stewart Taylor. Myabe it's partly because I know it's a book my pal would have loved, but I really enjoyed it! Now, I'm hoping to find the other books by that author! Debbie |

I cleaned up my bookshelf yesterday, and alphabetized it, and found one of my own WL books. I thought that was hilarious, wishing on a book I had on my shelf.

Did the same thing...was sorting through boxes of stored books and found two that I had ordered (and received) from PBS! Last Edited on: 2/5/09 10:00 AM ET - Total times edited: 1 |
