This reminds me of the big Ellora's Cave sale a couple of years ago, only it's all e-books.  This weekend, for Mother's day, every book at the site has a 50% rebate.  You don't need a special code or anything.  Whenever you buy a book, you get an instant credit for half of what you paid that can be used towards your next purchase (or whenever you want).  The credit is issued as what they call "Ebook bucks" and shows up like this on your "My Library" page:

Unassigned eBook Bucks 1 Access/Gift

You can either redeem the bucks for yourself or give them to someone else.  What's even better is that even if you use the bucks to buy more books, you still get half of the value of those new books added as more ebook bucks!  You also get a code for a free book for every 10 books you buy (whether through ebook bucks or regular).  Once you've bought ten, a code will show up at the bottom of your "My Library" page. All you have to do is copy that code, add whatever book you want into your cart, then paste the code into the "Calculate Discount" box.  Once you click "Calculate discount" it'll take you to another page where your book should show up for free. The only problem with the buy ten get one free is that the offer is only good for ten days, so it's best to use it asap.

One other thing about the ebook bucks is that you can't combine them with say, a credit card for payment. It's got to be one or the other.  All in all, it's a terrific sale.  I bought something like 21 books last night.  I'm going to try to stay away for the rest of the weekend, but that didn't work so well with the big EC sale so all bets are off!  Here's the home page: https://www.allromanceebooks.com/index.html

Enjoy!

I've been thinking about that sale all weekend.  Trying to resist.  Failure is likely.  :-)

I got the email yesterday.  I resisted until this afternoon.  Spent $20 and got 7 ebooks, a couple of them have been on my WL for a long time.  Had to do it in 2 orders.  One to accumulate the rebate and the second to spend it.

Okay, I didn't realize you got rebates when you spent your rebate.  I got 2 more books and have my rebate down to $1.26.  Plus I got a free ebook so I ended up with 10 ebooks for my $20.

Me either! I've spent $32 and have 13 books so far and still have $7.25 worth of rebate to spend, plus my free book.  I kinda feel like I'm caught in a never ending cycle!  LOL

(If you can't tell, I stopped resisting the sale. Hee!)

LOL That's why I said "What's even better is that even if you use the bucks to buy more books, you still get half of the value of those new books added as more ebook bucks!"  although now that I read it, I realize I could have worded that a lot better!  wink

I still can't believe they're allowing rebates on books purchased with rebate money but I sure am thankful that they are!  All I'm trying to do now is use as much of that rebate money as possible before Monday.  I figure I might as well make it go as far as it can!  I ended up like Sarah, getting some books that had been on my WL forever and a day.  It's nice to be able to finally scratch those off the list. laugh

"I purchased another ebook this morning and have my rebate down to 76 cents."

Oh, you're good, Sarah! I've still got $1.62.

"what are ya'll ordering/recommending?"

Susannah, I'm not sure what type of books you're into, but I look for:  contemporary, suspense, paranormal and sci-fi - all with a good degree of heat but no heavy BDSM or violence.  I like strong protective alpha males that may mess up, but don't act like complete jerks all the time.  I love Lisa Marie Rice's heroes (John Huntington from Midnight Man, for example).  I also like books like Shelly Laurenston's or Karen Kelley's that have some humor to them.  Here's what I wound up getting:  some Lauren Dane books (Chase series), and others by Denise A. Agnew, S. K. Yule, Kaitlyn O'Connor, Bonnie Rose Leigh, Tianna Xander, Jan Springer, and Charlene Teglia.  Some of the authors are new to me but I figured I'd give them a shot.

I finally got my ebucks down to $1.01.  I figure sometime I might come across a $.99 book that I can buy.  I ended up getting something like 25 books or so.  Maybe a couple of more.  Pretty much all erotica. Some Kaitlyn O'Connor, Lara Santiago, Jet Mykles, Fallon Blake's book, Victorious Star, a few others.

I ended up with all menage or more books.

I must say their customer service rocks!  Dumb me downloaded 3 of the books in Miobipocket format and I couldn't convert them with Calibre because of the DRM on them.  They were kind enough to let me re-download the books in a different format that I could actually put on my Sony ereader.  Lesson learned--don't download your ebooks when you're tired and not watching what you're doing.

thanks ya'll..I couldn't find anything but I'll go search again..I mean I found plenty but have no idea how to tell how much bdsm is in it..I like light playful none of that heavy duty stuff. I do like Lisa Marie Rice, Jory Strong, Lena Matthews..love Laurenston/Aiken books but have them in paperback already and some on ebook as well. I'll see if the sale's still going on...
