Although this series doesn't necessarily go out on a limb in brainstorming career choices, it does a thorough job of prepping for a CAREER search, rather than just a job search. The types of jobs it does present may be more interesting or unusual than one might think, as well, although it categorizes them rather generically. I found this to be a great resource for my own career planning.
