This book was everything I like in a contemporary romance. It had a smart, sometimes slightly too brash heroine with a quick wit, and a hot, sensitive billionaire hero. Oh, and did I mention- he's a Greek Adonis who owns his own island? Yum.
I loved the constant snarking between "Harry" and "Yacky", and all the mispronunciations of the hero's name that Harry comes up with throughout the book. (Even I'm not going to try to remember how to spell it!) I really got attached to the characters in the story. The romantic chemistry in the book is good.
The one complaint I have is that the ending falters just a bit. I still closed the book with the warm fuzzies though, so in the end, it's all good. A fun read.

OMG...this book was awesome!!!!!!!! Laughed out loud so many times throughout! I love Katie MacAlister to begin with, but this was so different than her other books in that it had no dragons, no ghosts, no vampires, etc. It was funny, steamy, and I can't wait for her next one, whatever genre it might be! I re-read it at least six times before listing it on my bookshelf and sharing it.

This one kept me entertained. The dialogue between Harry and "Yacky" is hilarious. I laughed out loud more than once.

Absolutely hillarious. Great steamy fun bedroom scenes as well. The story doesn't really go anywhere drastic but Eglantine "Harry" Knight is just such a great, zanny character that it makes up for the lack of significant plot.

I dont write a lot of reviews but sometimes I feel I have to take the time to write one for something special. This book was so different from my favorite genre of paranormal romances.

The book reminds me of Lucy and Ricky from the I Love Lucy show. Iakovos is the usual type of alpha male that I love to read about but Harry is totally off the charts. Trying to figure out how much to say without giving anything away but simply put - in this book there was no earth-shattering calamities about to happen, nobody needed to save the world from anyone nor were there problems between Iakovos and Harry about their love for each other that wasnt quickly resolved between the two of them. I enjoyed how Iakovos and Harry knew so much about each others personality that they completely trusted each other and also knew how each other would react to various situations. I loved, loved Harry and enjoyed the interaction between her and Patricia. The spontaneous and awkward things that Harry says are hilarious and the responses from the straight-laced Iakovos and other characters are equally funny.

This is not one of a series and it doesnt appear that it will be, although you kind of want a HEA to be written about one of the characters. I do not read books more than once but if I did, Id start this again right away. Simply put, this was a wonderful, fast-past, romantic comedy.

I enjoyed the characters, but overall there was no story. There was no conflict that had to be overcome, no action, just a rather boring story about. They met, fell in love, and lived happily ever after. So, overall there was just no story. I would recommend other Katie MacAlister books over this one.

Ms. MacAlister does it again! Another book about a 'normal' looking woman, course she falls for a model type man, but still better than the usual skinny blond having all the fun. Full of steamy romance, humor and a bit of mischief, I was pleasantly surprised by this contemporary romance. Enjoy!
