I don't, but wish I did. Have fun and tell us all about it when you are done!

I wish I did too.  I have space for one, and would love to have that available for early planting.  Have you had one before, or is this your first one?

I just bought two for $115.00 each on amazon.  I have been taking a look at these but didn't have the money these past two years.  Then they sent me one of those emails about something I had looked at being on sale.  They are 7x8x15.  We have just cold enough nites that for tomatoes and peppers these things will be great protection.  last summer we had a killing frost night on June 16th.  That makes for a short summer.

About in 1994 I ordered these corner pieces for greenhouses you build yourself and use 2x2s which are pretty cheap.  My brother the engineer helped me and the things lasted 10 years!  Cost about $150 bucks for two using UV treated plastic.  That is about $15.00 per year of use.

The thing about greenhouses for me is that I don't need cold frames.  That cuts down on the work involved by half to get things started.  And GHs are the only way I can grow things like cukes.

Cool, Pamela!  I am searching the internet today for something that might work for me, just a small area.  But I would love to have a potting shed with an attached greenhouse.  But I don't have that kind of money.

We found a metal roof  greenhouse frame  that someone did not want and my husband is welding posts to metal plates to attach to the frame for the supports. Then the posts will be attached to deck pier blocks. Then we will frame in old windows for the sides and plastic for the curved top. I will post a link to the picture when we are finished.

Oh, that sounds so great!!  It will have a rustic look from the outset, just the kind of thing I love!

I have a solarium in my house.  But I mostly grow indoor plants there.

I would like to get a greenhouse. We have moved 6 times in 5 yrs, always renting. Looks like we may be settling in again, so I cant wait to get back to gardening and hopefully putting up a small greenhouse.

Last year I made a greenhouse out of a old chin-up bar we made the kids years ago. Just made a small A frame one. You could use an old swing set and put plastic on it .  Two old swing sets together with 2x 4's  across the top for the roof support would make a nice one.

Joan, we need pictures when it is done, or even in progress!  Or start a Pinterest board on it.

I will have my husband take a picture of what we get done this weekend. We have the foundation almost done and might get the pole supports done this weekend. After that we will start figuring out the framing for the windows and door.

Here is a link to the progress photo album:  http://s12.photobucket.com/albums/a210/tomatolady/Greenhouse/

Nothing much for pictures . Got bottom wooden plate on . Metal posts are not going to work so we decided to totally wood frame it. Will be working on that now and will take pictures we that is done.
