I really liked this book. If you're a fan of PA, I think you'll like this book. While the summary makes it sound like the whole story is about the main character--its not. There are a lot of other characters for such a short story. Lots of battles and strategy as well, with the characters needing to find food (even when they unite and become an army). A great book.
