Go ahead and have alot of fun reading this book. The mystery is really lighter than air, but the era, attitudes and hilarious Groucho is priceless! A totally fun read!

Double-dealing and back-stabbing in Hollywood? No way! Corruption in the police force? Who'd ever believe that? And the ending.... Well, that was a little too pat. But I enjoyed Groucho's antics. I guess it must be because I have every one of the Marx Brother's movies.

My favorite quote by him about books is....

"TV can be very educational. Every time someone turns on a set, I go in the next room and read a book."

Story takes place in 1937. "Over the years I've realized that I have areal knack for detective work," he said. "Why, back during my vaudeville days, I was the one who found out who shot Ginsberg the human Cannonball." ... "You're using humor to hide your true feelings of grief and sorrow," Jane told him. Groucho stopped still, straightening up. "Jove, this woman is absolutely brilliant ... get rid of her at the earliest opportunity, Rollo. Brilliant women can ruin a chap." This is full of Groucho lines and not a bad plot. This and the Harry Challenge series are Goulart at his best. Get it today!
