This is a great children's book. All of the Boxcar Children series are great. My daughter loved them when she was in elementary school. Alas, now she is in middle school and likes Mandie books.

My granddaughter is a big fan of The Boxcar Children series. She requested this particular title after she had read a library copy. She (11 years old) thoroughly enjoyed the book. I have read some of her Boxcar Children books and find them very entertaining and easy to read. The quality I like about the series is that the children are all respectful of each other and all others, unlike so many newer children's books.
