Read in 15 minutes. Short phrases from various works by Antoine de Saint Exupery including The Little Prince. I didn't realize he was a pilot in the French resistance and many of his thoughts on life, and other books, can be seen were influenced by the war. Especially his thoughts on things like fortitude and resilience and responsibility and duty. My favorites though are: (1) âOne sees clearly only with the heart. Anything essential is invisible to the eyes.â From The Little Prince; and (2) âlife has taught us that love does not consist in gazing at each other but in looking outward together in the same directionâ from Wind Sand and Stars.
