I got this book at a library sale and almost didn't read it. I am glad I didn't pass it up. The story, which starts with a deranged sniper taking a shot at a group of people standing some distance away in a field, is a corker. Everyone assumes he was trying to kill a minor member of royalty when he was foiled by world-class racing car driver Bob Howe. With the eyesight and reflexes that go with his profession, Bob knows the sniper wasn't aiming at the Prince. So why the cover-up? Who was he really aiming for? Bob is determined to find out even if it costs him his marriage--and his life.
