Belinda Stuart , recently separated from her jealous husband, is enjoying a fabolous new career when suddenly the past returns to tear her life apart, First, a play produced and written by 2 college friends- based on their old Harvard days- portrays Belinda as a woman whose sexual charms turn the men in her life against each other .

Now, one by one , other men from her college years show up , acting as if they own her , making strange demands of her, startling her with confessions of long repressed desire. Until one night one of them is found brutually murdered.

The evidence points to her ex husband. But Belinda is convinced that the truth lies elsewhere , that one of her adoring college friends is in fact a cold blooded killer. Frightened and alone, she must go back through 20 years of passions, jealousies and hatreds to uncover the dark secret that has already taken one life-- and may soon claim her own..
