Does anyone have a clue on the author or name of the book /series that the main character was a gunslinger/fighter that also carried a samurai swoard?

In the early Sackett Novels Barnabas Sackett and his children carried guns and swords. But not samaria swords.

Yes, there was a series about a white guy who frew up in Japan, and came back to the U.S. and carried a Samuari Sword. The first book is called Six Gun Samurai, series of 6 books. Use that title on Amazon to see if that is it
