Since there are 25 copies posted into the system, it is doubtful they would change the binding. If you could research and find pretty strong proof that the book was never printed as a hardcover under an ISBN they will sometimes change it, but usually not if there are a lot of posted copies that would be affected. When I enter the ISBN on my paperback, the listing shows a hardcover!Problem: You enter the ISBN on your paperback and the book Listing Preview says "hardcover".This means one of two things:1. Your book is an Advanced Reader Copy (ARC)
2. The publisher chose to assign the same ISBN to more than one version of this title.

An ISBN search shows both paperbacks and hardcovers posted elsewhere with this ISBN. http://chaicha.info/book/show/699857.Mina http://search.barnesandnoble.com/Mina/Marie-Kiraly/p/9780425143599
So the site has to assume that the books currently posted to this listed are hardcovers, too, and they can't change the binding. But you can post your book without using the ISBN. There's a place for that on the Post Books page.

"I'd like to add: Thank you for checking the book and removing it. It is frustrating to order one book and get another binding type. We all appreciate members that post their books correctly."
