Hi. I am currently trying to find all of the books I loved growing up and either couldn't afford or couldn't find. Now, thanks to abebooks, ebay, thrift stores and PBS, I've found about 75% of them. But this one has eluded me because I can't remember the author or title. I read it in the first or second grade, around 1970 or 1971. It's about a boy that goes to town to spend his Saturday. As best I can remember, the pictures are actual photos and not illustrations. I think the words 'Saturday' or 'town' may be in the title. I do remember one stop on his trip is the local barbershop. If anyone could help with this I would really appreciate it. Thanks!

Loganberry's stump the bookseller identified one of my childhood favorites - give it a whirl. |
