I am looking for a vampire series to read. (Already read Laurell K. Hamilton)

Please, no Young Adult.  I enjoy my Horror Rated R, no PG-13.    wink

Got lots of credits to spend.

Suggestions...??

If you like vampire books with romance thrown in Maggie Shayne has an entire series of books titled Wings in the Night. There are 12 to that series plus 2 added later. There are 4 other vamp books that are not really part of the series, but more a spin-off. You might want to try them. The first 12 are through Silhouette and Mira and they are not R-rated. I liked them better than I liked the Twilight series (I know, I'm in the minority there).

If you liked Anita Blake then you will like author Kim Harrison's The Hollows series.  The main character, Rachel Morgan, is another kick-a$$ female and the action is pretty fast and gory.

Lynsay Sands is another one who has a vampire series that's pretty good. Good luck. Pat

The Night Huntress series by Jeanienne Frost is excellent-kick butt lead female, sexy male characters and lots of "romance" thrown in. The Blood Singer series by Cat Adams is a good one, again, strong female lead.
