ISBN-13 9784312550118  shows up as     ??????????????_??????ABC (Japanese)

from Google search
å°å¦ä¸ç´ã»ä¸å¦åç´è±èªã¯ããâä»ã®ãã¡ããABC

I'm hoping to find someone familiar enough with the language to translate Japanese characters to Arabic alpha for the book title.  I can find nothing online (by ISBN or author) except in Japanese characters, and while they are beautiful and I'd like to use them here, they just don't work on the PBS listing.

Any suggestions?

If you run it through Babelfish translator you get

  • Professor grade senior and junior high school basic English--out now from ABC.

I don't have time to check most of the kanji, but I have familiarity with katakana, hiragana, and a couple of kanji and to me it looks like:

  • Shou [kanji] [kanji] [kanji] - [kanji] [kanji] [kanji] [kanji] [kanji] [kanji] ha kasee ima no uchi kara ABC
  • å°å¦ä¸ç´ã»ä¸å¦åç´è±èªã¯ããâä»ã®ãã¡ããABC (part I romanized is bolded and highlighted)

Thank you, Renee!   PBS members are the best!  I shouldn't be surprised at the vast amount of knowledge here, we are readers, after all.

I'll give it a day or so, and hope someone might be able to add even more -- then see if Admin feels that part of the title is better than none.  Plus, I feel much better about the data I added to the description and genre.  :^)

eta: meant to add in 1st post that Google search does show the actual characters, but again, here they 'translate' yet another way.
