She pm'd me because she said it was water damaged and noticed it after it was listed. I told her I didn't want it because of the damage, and she cancelled the offer. Then she relisted it - again, I'm #1 so it shows up that one is being offered. If I cancel it - I lose my place as #1 on my wish list - and I don't want that to happen with 19 others behind me. What do I do? TIA |

This is where you send a pm to R&R ... If it's water damaged, she cannot post it .. not now... not tomorrow ... Let them know it's a WL and you are first in line ... They can make sure you don't lose your place and that the member who is listing this book can't list it again. ETA: Be sure to send the pm from her to R&R as well so they know she knows about it! She needs to keep this book off her shelf because of the water damage and post on the Book Bazzaar forum as a freebie with an order. I'll bet she will find some takers immediately if she does that who want the book "as is". |

I messaged her and told her I can't decline and tried to nicely tell her it is against the rules to offer it for credits knowing it's water damaged. I also gave her your suggestion, Nashvillethecat :) Thanks for all the help! :) |

You need to send a PM to Richard and Robert, too -- the site owners. Use the Contact Us link at the bottom of the page. |

I am the person that posted the book that Theresa is talking about. I have just PM'ed Theresa again and asked her to accept the book so that I can go ahead and cancel the order and take the book off of my bookshelf. I realized what I had done after I had PM'ed her the last ime and didn't mean to ruffle any feathers. I'm sorry about all the problems this has caused.

We all make mistakes one time or another Heather. It's great to know you saw yours and pulled the book! |
