Someone requested a book from me (I got a PM) but it is not registering in my account. So I have no way of printing a wrapper or getting the credit. What do I do? Lisa |

The requestor may have ordered it from someone else by mistake (this happens if you look at the book details page and then order from there instead of going back to the bookshelf to order). Or s/he cancelled after PMing you. Or s/he sent the PM to you before the 1-hr "buyer's remorse" period elapsed. Help Center sez:
Tell the requestor that if she has an active request on her account, to click the PM button on it and see if your name pops up in the new PM. If not, she has ordered from someone else. She should cancel that order, and go to your bookshelf and click "Order This Book" on your bookshelf to send the request to you.

Check your transaction archive - the requestor most likely cancelled the order. But at least you know you're the first one for that book - so the next time someone requests it, it'll come to you! |
