I've just finished Something Blue by Emily Giffin. This is the second in her series of 3. So far the first 2 have been AWESOME FUN READS!!! Very Highly Recommended. I have the first 2 in the series on my bookshelf if anyone's interested in seeing just how GREAT these books are for yourself.

1st - SOMETHING BORROWED: on my bookshelf now

2nd - SOMETHING BLUE: on my bookshelf now

3rd - BABY PROOF: hope to be reading very soon.

ENJOY LADIES :)

I loved Something Borrowed and Something Blue. I'll have to check out Baby Proof.

They were really great books. I have all three of them although haven't read Baby Proof yet, and they are keepers.

I have to admit. I am having a little trouble getting into these books. I just recieved both of them today and I just started reading "Something Borrowed" It started out slow for me, with it jumping back and fourth with her being younger and now it being her 30th birthday. It got my interested again when she woke up to a phone call from her frantic best friend that her fiance is missing when he is laying next to her (That got a chuckle out of me) I am on chapter 3 and am just not sure about this book yet.

Did you start out this way? Did it get better?

Keep going Trisha. It gets better, at least it did for me. It might have been a bit slower at first but I have a lot of patience and it was recommended by a friend of mine that knew my taste. She was right!

Trisha M.,

It does have a slow start, but just keep going. It'll get really good soon and you'll be wanting Something Blue as soon as your done.

ENJOY!!

Okay good, I was disappointed because I had ordered both Something Borrowed and Something Blue. And I was thinking, now I have the other book and I don't even like the first one! lol.. I am almost done with another book I am reading so I will be able to put all my attention towards Something Borrowed!!! I am glad to know that it gets better! Thanks.

These are great books, and Emily is a fantastic author.

I've met her a few times at book signings here in Atlanta and she is just as amazing as you'd imagine!  A frind of mine is a friend of hers and so I get to actually "meet" her. She is FABULOUS!  My buddy just got a preview copy of her newest one and I can't wait to sneak a peek before it gets on the shelves!!

I never would've picked up her books if it wasn't for this website!  =)

I have read everything by her and am eagerly awaiting for her next book!  Of course I am in a LOOOOOOOONG line on the wish list so this might have to be a book I buy myself.

Something Borrowed was my first venture into chick lit. It convinced me that chick lit maybe wasn't as superficial as I thought it might be so I should give it a try. I loved Something Blue as well and although I have Baby Proof in my TBR, I have yet to read it. I have read reviews  indicating it wasn't as good as the previous two. I hope they are wrong.
