As editors of this work, we want to reinforce certain items which we have stated from the project's inception:
1) This publication can be utilized as a study guide by candidates for the CHMM examination. However, it has not been written to specifically teach the exam.
2) Major portion of the CHMM exam include questions which require experience and maturity of judgement - no one can teach that.
3) As does the CHMM exam, this edition stresses a unified approach to hazardous materials.
