I know a lot of you have been having trouble with RAWPs lately and I just wanted to post a positive story.

I just received two seperate Book Bazaar deals today and I'm so happy. Both members responded to PMs promptly, mailed in a very timely fashion,  took the time to carefully wrap the books in plastic, and  made sure the outer wrappings were securely taped. The books themselves are in very nice condition I have no qualms at all about reposting them once I've read them. It was like getting an early Christmas present!

There are a lot of responsible PBS'er out there and since the Questions forum deals mostly with problems we don't hear about them as much. So to all of you who follow the guidelines (and often go above and beyond) thank you!

I have received four pristine books in the past five days.  Absolutely gorgeous copies of WL books.  They will go back into the system when I am done with them.  You are right.  We hear a lot about problems but not nearly enough about excellent swaps!

Of course it's when we're ticked off that we want to talk about it, so far too often we don't hear the good stories. 99.5% of my swaps have been excellent, so it's what I've come to expect and all too often don't mention specific swaps. I agree--thanks to everyone who DOES follow the rules and makes PBS what it really is!

I have to say that almost all of my swaps have been excellent experiences.  Thanks PBS and all the wonderful members!

I've had two  problem swaps ever - one of which was a book in good condition, but posted under the wrong ISBN: I had really wanted a paperback version, decided to "settle for" the hardcover ISBN, and received a paperback -  Large Print (which I really hate to try to read), so I asked for my credit back. The other was the one time I received a book whose cover was detached. Otherwise, I've gotten very good - excellent condition on average, with no stains and water damage at all.

I'm convinced that my mail carrier "saves" up my PBS books to deliver all at once.  Today I got 5 books (one was just about to go lost)!  What a haul! I'll bet that is what the mail carrier was saying, too!! ;D  Anyway, all 5 are in great shape and were all packaged perfectly for the journey!  I always appreciate it when senders do that!  I always let them know that I appreciate their efforts.    NOW - where to put them all!

I've received 12 books in the last two days, all of which were in like new condition and packaged beautifully. In fact, in the last two months, I've gotten over 50 books and every one of them was in great shape. I am now knocking on wood as I have another 2 dozen on the way to me. I love PBS, it is my favorite place to find used books.
