Happy New Year to you all!  Here's to a wonderful 2016!

So...any reading resolutions?  I've decided that this is the year I get caught up on Uhtred, and read all of Amelia Peabody.  I've only read about half of her adventures, and I love them.  I may also pick one author and read all of his/her books, but I haven't decided which author yet.  I'm really tempted to do a chronological Kings and Queens of England read...somebody talk sense to me!!

Happy New Year!!!

I'm hoping to read more books next year. I've only read about 36 books, which is woefully short of what I used to read years ago. Need to stop all that housework and, um, my job from getting in the way.

Happy New Year!

No reading resolutions, except perhaps to read more from the classics this year.

Hello, and Happy New Year to all!  My only real reading resolution is to try to read more often and put a dent in my massive pile of unread (and un-listened to) books!  I'd also like to be more active around here.  My job has gotten so busy that I just don't ever have the time to check in here and in the other on-line communities I'm a part of.  It makes me sad!  Hoping to have more of a presence here and to keep up with all of you dear friends! I'd also like to participate in more games. I don't think I did any in 2015!  Keep me on your ear burn lists, please!!

Happy New Year to all my PBS friends.

Since I read quite a bit to begin with, about a book a day, my only book resolution this year is to try and reduce my Kindle books. I have tons of physical books lying around, but my Kindle stash is over the top. I'm going to try and use the Kindle books as much as I can in all the challenges I've joined. Wish I could resolve to stop getting them, LOL, but that will never happen.

Your comment made me laugh, Mary! It's good to know one's limits.

My reasing resolutions mirror some of those already mentioned. I read 39 books this year; and I would like to read more in 2016. Also, like Alice, I want to be more active in this forum. I miss the active discussions we used to have - both on and off topic.

Lastly, thinking about Vicky's resolutions; I think this is the year I will 1) read Pamela Belle's two trilogies about the English Civil War & 2) finish the Bridges Over Time series by Valerie Anand.

And, of course, try to slot as many books as possible into our two challenges!

~Kelly

I like what Shelley said about putting a dent in the TBR, and especially re. being more of a presence here on the forum.  I hope we will all post more regularly about what we're reading, and I hereby resolve to do just that.
