I know the USPS is the brunt of so many criticisms. So, I thought I'd just let everyone know, that one of the books I sent last week arrived in two days, a few others must have arrived in about that amount of time since the credits are flowing. Great job USPS! |

In general, I think the USPS does a good job moving all that mail so quickly across the country. I've had a game book that was mailed in August just showed up at the recipient's this week. Very happy that it finally made it but curious as to where it was hiding all this time. |

I had a book arrive to a requestor this week as well. It was mailed Aug 28th. We decided that it was under a wobbly table leg. I will say that most of the books I get come in less than a week.I think that the USPS does a great job. |

IMO the media mail service was much faster in 2008 than 2007. Although a lot of the books were 7 to 14 days in transit (rarely longer), a surprising number were received in just a few days. And the idiotic problems so many experience at their local post office have been non-existant for me. Mailing PBS books has been quick and effortless every single time. Reading the frustrations of other postal customers has made me very thankful for my well trained local USPS. Last Edited on: 1/18/09 5:39 AM ET - Total times edited: 1 |
