I really admire Jamie Lee Curtis and thought this blog by her was worth posting.

I want to say thanks to all of you for every time you spoke up here on PBS and once again gave me hope when I was starting to feel more & more like less of a human being for being a lesbian.

Thanks for making me laugh through my sometimes tears and especially for when your comic genius almost made me snort something liquid out my nose & onto my monitor.

Thanks for sharing yourselves, your stories, your triumphs, joys and heartaches - it gets me out of myself and once again makes me realize that we aren't alone in this world and are actually more connected to each other than we realize. 

Where ever you are, I want to wish all the best today, I am truly bless by each of you.

Lauren, I'm so sorry for your loss.  Many, many years ago, I got dumped on Thanksgiving Eve.  I never forget that and how miserable I was that Holiday weekend even with all my kids and family trying to be supportive.  Now I give thanks that it happened. ..but at the time...ouch.  it is SO hard.  Hang in there, KIddo.  Something better is waiting for you.

Thank you Mary, and Happy Thanksgiving to all my friends here.  Everyone here is so kind and generous and I wish you all a year of peace and happiness.

Lauren, I just want to let you know that I'm keeping you in my thoughts & holding you close right now.  Even after DP & I got together, it was a big change for me & what I had been use to during the holidays in my previous relationship.  It took me awhile to mourn what I had & realize what I have now.  I'm truly sorry for your loss right now.

If you ever need a shoulder to cry on, please feel free to PM me or come here & talk to us.  Take your time & don't feel that you need to be a 'brave little soldier' right now.
