I could use a little advice. Today I received a children's hardcover book that I had requested. Both front and back covers are bent, but otherwise it looks great. No PM was sent to me prior to shipment so I don't know if it was shipped in this condition or if it had a rough trip here. The condition isn't a problem for me because my kids will still enjoy it. They are very good with books and it will most likely not see further damage in their hands. My question is this: when they are ready to trade it, what should I do? |

I would post it, but if it is requested, PM the requester to let them know the condition. The rules state the cover should not be torn or chewed; doesn't say anything about being bent. However, IMO, it is best to let them know in advance. |

I agree with June. Technically, it sounds like it's postable, but as a courtesy, it wouldn't hurt to let a requestor know the condition. |

Neato tip on the microwaving a book. If I were to do that and DH walked in the room, he would prob have me commited.
Back to the bent book....My mailman bent a book I ordered off of Ebay to make it fit in my mailbox. I was so mad! I let him know it to. I paid a pretty penny for that book and waited forever for it. It may be why he doesn't pick any mail up from our box know. HMMM? |
