Hi everyone!

So I signed up to be a Harlequin Ambassador last year and the program is great!  I got 2 free books about every 10-12 weeks and a survey to fill out when I was done with them.  No prob!  Well, they changed the program now.  This time they sent me 5 copies of the same book with instructions to give the books and let them know how it's going.  Considering how much I love books, this is no prob!

The book(s) I received are from the Love Inspired series.  They are A McKaslin Homecoming by Jullian Hart.  Did anyone else receive these books and would lke to discuss them?  Or did you receive different books?  I've already given one away.  My sister was visiting from NY last week and I gave her one.  Please let me know.  I'd like to have a book discussion group about this title if possible.

Jan:

Just go to harlequinambassadors.com

You fill out a short survey, and if you're in one of the demographics they're looking for, they'll send you a bunch of free stuff.

Sometimes it's the 5 free books... all the same story- 1 for you and 4 others to give away... (I just send them as an extra freebie when I send out a wishlisted romance novel- usually only costs a dime more to do), or sometimes they'll send 2 different books or e-books.  They usually ask you to fill out a short e-mail questionnaire.  Once in a while they send an e-mail survey on cover choices or opinions about their books.  I enjoy doing them & they don't take more than a few minutes.

I I tried this awhile ago and was denied. I guess what i like to read has too many people reading/reviewing it already?

there IS a geographical quota. I live in the most sparsely romance reading region in the USA so I was accepted. My friend in TX has been rejected twice.

I've been doing this for a few years now and only am ever sent 5 books.  I will not be reading this batch, though, because it is religious-inspired but not my own religious beliefs.

I just got this batch of 5 books as well.  I love reading  the Harlequin/Silhouette books, but not this line.  I don't like the sweet "hearth and home" type romances.  Give me a sweaty hunk ANY day of the week. (I read the  Blaze, Desire, Romantic Suspense and Intrigue lines)   I know there are lots of people who like Christian Fiction, so I just gave them all away.  Like the other posters here, I just filled out a survey and I was accepted.
