Okay, so way back in college, I used to get books every month from Harlequin mailed to my home every month.  I think it was like 6 books a month for one flat fee.  I believe I signed up for this service by sending away one of those postcards that come in the middle of a book.  Anyway, after a year I  cancelled my subscription and haven't thought too much about it since.

My questions are, does anybody here have that service now and if so, which one and how do you like it?  What is the cost?

Thanks for any feedback!

If you go to eharlequin.com and click on the series you're interested in they'll give you the price per book for subscriptions.

The books are priced slightly more/less: Presents are $4.25, the Special Editions & Romantic Suspense (old Intimates) are $4.99, not sure what the Desires, SuperRoms, Americans cost at the stores.

Edited to say the prices I mention above are the bookstore prices, not sub service

I was a member for awhile.  Overall it was "convenient" but not affordable because I never seemed to get a book I really wanted to read.  You get to pick the series but not the books they send you, unfortunately.

I've subscribed tp the MIRA Romance line for a little over 2 years... like Willa said, they pick your books for you- but I always know what's coming from their newsletter anyway.  The books are discounted... (around 4.00 each or so, I think...)- and they send 3 a month- with shipping it's like $17 or so a month.  They're almost always titles I like, and they're always wishlisted, so I just send them out when I'm done with them  :)   I like getting new books occasionally too!

I just recently started doing this again myself. It was a free trial offer, i'm not sure how long i am going to keep up with it. I've gotten 5 books this month(one was a bonus gift) and out of the 5 i only like 2 of the descriptions i read. Next months selections are listed in a pamplet that comes with the books. I might have better luck next month as far as the books i want to read. Total cost for me this month was $23.76. I ordered the Harlequinn super-romance series in larger print. I am thinking of switching the series choice also.

About 3 months ago, I signed up for the eHarlequin subscription for Large Print - Love Inspired books.

I love the service, and the books..!    I cant pick the titles, but since I like that line of books, ~ I dont mind what they send me.  :)

~ and like mentioned above, I can always post them here.  Also..on Fridays, I believe they still have a Special ( if you place an order for any books,

you get a free book ) sometimes the Specials are different.
