What are these about?  I haven't read any, but I have ordered a couple here on PBS.  The covers look fun... Who are these marketed for?  Have you read any, what did you like about them?  Are they funny, modern, heavy on the romance side??

Just wondering... seems that you can find deals about them quite often and I'm usually low on credits so they seem right up my ally!!

I've gotten a lot of them lately but only read a few so far. I found them light and cute and funny..the characters were sorta  young or maybe up to late 20s/early 30s and silly situations. I've rreally liked the ones I've read and still pick them up when I see them. Ialso like some of the harlequin duets, depending on the author.

ETA: I've been finding more deals on them recently though when I first started looking for them I hardly ever saw any! I like a light funny read without too much drama and these and the duets seem to fit the bill for that.

Harlequin has shut down this line.  They haven't printed any in about a year (to the best of my recollection.)

I was just coming back here to ask that very same question!!  I went to the Harlequin website and did a search, but nothing came up.  I then wen to the B&N website and they have several available from 2005, but that is the latest publication date.  I wonder why it shut down??!?

Harlequin looks for a certain amount of traffic in the lines in order to continue them.

Duets morphed into Flipsides and the line still didn't do well enough to continue.

wow I didn't know the duets became the flipsides..I know I like reading both for funny light reads...I never saw them 'new'..just discovered them later. actually I did sew a duets book 'new' and thought it was because they were new authors they couldn't sell otherwise! too bad 'cause they're really good for what they are! Now it seems like everything's going to intrigue/romantic suspense/paranormal..sigh..i do like the intrigues(some of them) but miss the nice easy fun reads. I'm still 'collecting' the duets and flipsides when I can find them though.

ETA: I have some harlequins that are called 'love and laughter'..was this a line or just a collection printed? does anyone know? I remember one book was being searched for and someone found the title and I ordered it (stuck with you by vicki lewis thompson) it was afunny book(but Iknow she  usually writes sex and f unny but not sure of the othe rau thors in the series)

Love & Laugher was another Harlequin line that they discontinued.  I did buy a few of those new.  Jennifer Crusie wrote one or two that I remember having at some point.
