Hi All,

I used to read quite a lot of romance novels and I'm trying to find two ones that I used to lvoe and lost. I was

wondering if anyone who is an avid reader might know what these are. I can't remember the titles, but I have little tidbits about the books that I was hoping to use to track them down:

Book 1: It is a Harlequin romance novel. It takes place in Australia and on the back cover the topic line in bold is "A Trophy Wife?." The story has to do with a couple that is married becuase of the necessity for a merger and she is really in love with him. It ends with the heroine's stepmother trying to blackmail her with inappropriate pictures and the heroine gets attacked by some guy the stepmother hires. They go to a lot of random social events, etc. Any ideas??

Book 2: It is a Silhouette romance novel. I think it's called the Sheriff's Woman or something like that? but i could be wrong. The summary is a woman is pregnant and her husband just passed away. The baby belongs to the husband's best friend who donated sperm before the husband passed away. The romance is between this woman and the best friend. At the very end she gets in a car accident or something?

Any help is much appreciated!!

Those don't sound familiar to me, but a few months ago I found a link to old Harlequin and Silhouette titles. Often there is no description, but maybe it can give you a place to start?  Link

How about "An Ideal Marriage?" by Helen Bianchin:

The trophy wife

When Gabbi married Benedict Nicols, it was the wedding of the decade, uniting two prominent, wealthy families. To the outside world, it seemed the perfect match. No one would guess Gabbi's secret heartache: that she loved her husband, but to him she was simply a social accessory... .

Benedict also expected Gabbi to provide him with a son and heir. If she didn't, her glamorous stepsister was only too eager to give Benedict everything he wanted! Suddenly, Gabbi had a fight on her hands to save her marriage... . And Benedict was definitely a man worth fighting for!
