Contemporary Erotic romance-suspence from Ellora's Cave. Many erotic/romantica novels center around the sex. Not so in this case. The actual plot line drives this story, and the hot sex scenes are just a plus. Elgin Collier is a renowned erotic author, who is being stalked. Her Publisher hires Campbell Harm's firm to protect Elgin, and find the stalker. Elgin is no shrinking violet, and used to running her own life. Harm is a former policeman/former CIA, and former Navy. He's opinionated and has a low opinion about how Elgin earns her living. She thinks he's an arrogant, opinionated, caveman. He's going to keep her safe with or without her cooperation. Good book.

The story is lame, neither of the main leads are very likeable, and although there are an adequate number of sex scenes they are nothing special. A few of the secondary characters are interesting though. The plot never jelled for me and I thought the characters said and did things that did not ring true to who they were. Don't bother.
Elgin Collier, AKA Gillian Shelby, is the world's most popular women's erotica author. She has wealth, success and now apparently a stalker who may already have committed murder. Sheila Forbes, Elgin's publisher and best friend hires Campbell Harm, head of Harm's Way Security to protect her and find the stalker. It's hate at first sight for these strong-willed, independent people. He thinks she's a "pornographer" and she thinks he's a "knuckle-dragging Neanderthal." Sparks fly from their first meeting.--
