I loved this book. It is a love story, not only of a man and woman, but the deep feeling she has for her quilt making. Only a true quilter would understand the loss of having to leave all of your quilting fabrics and books and begin again.

A lovely story - how on earth did it sit around my house so long unread?? Annabelle escapes her abusive Manhatten husband and runs until her car quits - in a small North Carolina town. Here, of course, she finds a home and True Love. You can predict most of the story, but it's well told, the characters endearing, and Judson deft at painting the picture of this portion of Appalachia. A good way to spend some time.
