Okay, my turn has come up for this book.  This is my third incomplete transaction.  The first two posters never responded so my request timed-out.  The third said she posted it accidently.  Are there some strange circumstances surrounding the HP books?  LOL.

I am having the same thing with Evanovich's Four - first person said they'd mail it, never marked it mailed so it timed out, they PMed me that they mailed it, but no book yet too weeks later; the second offer timed out; I now have a 3 offer that is marked that it will be mailed.

I wonder if Potter has people posting it before they are done reading to get the offer and acceptable process started, and then can't finish such a big book quick enough? I got my copy of HP7 offered, accepted, and to me in less than a week I think.

Sending you good WL thoughts :)

I accidently posted two books yesterday.    I wanted to post the books to a friend for a gift for one year of not smoking.   I posted them - THEN remembered my shelf was on hold.   Ohhhhh  - I took the shelf off hold.  The books posted to the first persons on the wish list.   I had to send an oppppp sorry - my mistake PM.        So yes, even a seasonal PBS person such as I CAN accidently post a book.

Maybe they meant to add the book to their wishlist and hit the wrong button?

I've had problems with HP books as well.

The first one I got was lost in the mail and the second one had water damage. Luckily the third one arrived two days ago and was fine, except they wrapped a 2.5" thick book only in the printer paper and it was opened on the edges.

Uh, oh, I'm waiting for HP4 right now and it seems to be taking its time.  Hopefully hasn't gotten sucked into this  HP black hole!  ;->

I've posted the wrong book before. It is an easy mistake to make.

What happened with me was I had a book that was a part of a set. I opened the book typed in the ISBN and posted the book. Right away it showed up on someones wish list. I mailed it to her only to get a VERY ANGRY & RUDE message. She said I sent the wrong book and I was sure I didn't since I posted the book, saw the wish list request and mailed it all within less than hour.

Well it turned out that inside the book there were 2 sets of ISBN's. Oddly it listed Volume 1 first then the volume I had which was Volume 4. So when I typed in the ISBN I typed in the first one I saw which was volume 1. (sigh)

I've seen the same mistake when I sell on Ebay. Someone will post a book and it will turn out they posted the standered ISBN when it is a LARGE PRINT book.

As for the Harry Potter books I think we have the one you mentioned on our wish list too.

Sorry for the delay and problems you are having. I find is so annoying when not just one person but 2 or 3 don't answer the requests.
