From Westchester to War-torn Israel, From California communes to Italian Palazzi....

An unforgettable novel yielding the fruit of hidden passions, corrosive secrets, and tragic rebellion that simultaneously shape and echo the fortunes of three generations.

At the center of the storm are the beautiful Anna, trying to undo the damage of the past...Iris, whose marriage to Theo, the brillant surgeon, is floundering...their son Steve, caught in the turbulence of teh 60s, a politcal radical wanted by the FBI...and Paul Werner, the powerful banker, driven to help the family that barely knows him.

Good book- I still hold the first of this series, Evergreen, as my favorite, but this was a good one, too- seemed to tie everything up neatly
Belva Plain is a good writer of the family saga-

This book does not contain any isbn. There is a book club edition number on the back 17152, and there is writing on the very first page (looks like someone wrote pricing to kayaks), but it is hardcover with a dustjacket, this was a gift to us so we are offering it here, it has not been read that we know of, maybe once by the gifter. The critics over at Amazon dot com gave it four out of five stars.
